NARA Request Form

Cases and documents filed in 2004 to current are only available in an electronic format and are not stored at the National Archive and Records Administration (NARA). You may access these documents by PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). If you do not have a PACER login, you can register online at http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov.

To request documents from the National Archive and Records Administration (NARA) please complete the following:

Step 1 - Enter the case number you are requesting documents for.

Case Number (99-99999) -   Check if Adversary Case

Step 2 - Select a delivery method.

 

1. Recieve NARA Request Form via Email. (Fastest!)

Information from our archive database will be filled out on the form for you. Simply follow the instructions, fill out the remainder of the request form, and mail it to the NARA.

PACER

It may not be necessary to request documents from the National Archive and Records Administration if the case was filed on or before 01/01/1997. Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information. If you do not have a PACER login, you can register online at http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov.
