We now have a new “For the Public” section on the main page of our website under Programs & Services. This new section has information about civics education, courtroom tours, and a new financial literacy program.
Also, to further expand our community outreach to teachers and their students, we are offering a 90-minute program titled Financial Literacy: Financial Firsts Can be Financial Pitfalls. This program is designed to teach students how to be prepared for their first vehicle, first credit card, first student loan, first job and first apartment. Volunteer lawyers are needed to help with student engagement. For more information, please contact Janell Grubb at (509) 458-5333.
